  • Lead multiple, short-duration, small-scale technology implementation projects.
  • Support multi year technology implementation projects that cross multiple business units
  • Understand business goals, objectives, and project value to effectively work with subject matter experts and business users to identify, document, and prioritize business requirements.
  • Work with business to identify, understand and document the current state processes and organizational structure.
  • Collaborate with IT resources for inclusion and documentation of requirements.
  • Work with business and 3rd party experts to understand, assess and document the future state processes and system design.
  • Illustrate differences between current and future state to support business transformation.
  • Understand and validate the proposed technical solution against business requirements.

Business Analyst Mandatory Skills

  • Strong ability in process modelling software and process design
  • Strong group facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to elicit requirements and negotiate priority with multiple stakeholder groups
  • Experience managing requirements traceability in JIRA

Business Analyst Nice to Have Skills

  • Experience in a Project Manager/coordinator role with the ability to take on Project Management responsibilities as required
  • Experience in a regulated environment (i.e. Utility)
  • Experience with iGrafx for process management
  • Project-based experience with some of Gas and Pipelines core applications, such as (in order of importance):
