Saxon Mechanical is known for providing custom mechanical solutions to residential and commercial projects across Vancouver and Abbotsford. Your new Role:
As the Mechanical Project Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role as the main liaison between stakeholders, our office, project sites, and our dedicated crew. Your leadership will set an example for the project team. Here’s what you’ll be responsible for Project Scheduling: Craft and maintain a comprehensive project schedule, emphasizing critical path activities to ensure timely completion. Budget and Deadlines: Keep a watchful eye on project finances, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints and meeting deadlines. On-Site Coordination: Collaborate closely with Foremen and Superintendents, providing clear direction and support. Change Management: Handle additional work requests and changes, submitting accurate quotes and coordinating drawings. Financial Tracking: Monitor job costs and prepare insightful reports for review by the Ownership Group. Adaptability: Be ready to tackle other duties as needed to keep our projects running smoothly.
What you’ll need to Succeed:
To succeed as the Mechanical Project Manager, you will bring 5-10 years of combined industry experience and be self-motivated with a strong desire to meet/ exceed expectations. You will need to be familiar with mechanical contracting and associated components from both HVAC and plumbing. The ideal candidate will detail-oriented, able to work independently, though also work well in a team as they value a cohesive environment. You will be approachable and professional with customers and have some previous experience with Microsoft Suite. This position is open to candidates with field or coordination background
