Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Support the development, implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System as per the requirements of ISO9001.
  • Investigate, lead Root Cause Analysis, determine and verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
  • Coordinate corrections and corrective action activities with the Quality Team and departmental leads.
  • Track KPIs and quality objectives.
  • Assist in the development and review of procedures and work instructions.
  • Prepare for and play a lead role in internal and external audits.
  • Provide support to manufacturing with acceptability decisions.
  • Ensure the maintenance of records and adherence to quality standards.
  • Participate in the evaluation and approval of suppliers.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years in a Quality related role or post-secondary education in a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO9001:2015 quality standard, quality assurance terminology and procedures.
  • Internal Auditor Certification a strong asset.
  • Knowledge of root cause, corrective actions and risk analysis.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings and standards.
  • Willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and multiple demands working effectively in both a team environment and independently.
  • Valid Ontario Driver's license (travel between sites).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
