SHIFT MANAGER

TD CENTRE - TORONTO, ONTARIO

FLEXIBLE FULL TIME - 30-37.5 HOURS PER WEEK

As a Shift Manager with cleo you'll be responsible for creating an exceptional brand experience for our customers shopping with us in store. As a member of the management team you will help to lead all aspects of the store's business and support day to day operations. Additionally you would act as Merchandising Manager for this location. The Merchandising Manager role is responsible for using creativity and understanding of current styling trends, visual merchandising techniques to meet our product and customer strategies for each brand. You play a role in growing our brand, maximizing sales, and creating a unique and memorable shopping experience.

How You'll Contribute

Shift Managers are responsible for supporting day to day store operations including achieving sales goals, ensuring excellent customer experiences, and overall team leadership in the absence of their store manager or assistant manager. A Shift Manager is also responsible for providing amazing customer experiences and demonstrating strong selling skills.
Ensure every customer receives outstanding customer service by following our customer service program
Drive customer loyalty by introducing our loyalty program to all customers
Drive business results through coaching and encouraging customer focused sales associates
Promote the brand through knowledge and understanding of our product, business, and values
Oversee store operations, including shift task organization and store opening and closing duties, in conjunction with/or in the absence of management
Participating in merchandising, marketing and visual presentation according to our standards and directives
Maintain a safe and clean store environment for our teams and customers
Secure company assets with strong loss prevention skills and awareness
Providing supervision to the store team; providing guidance, coaching, and training to your team so they can achieve great results
Creating a positive work environment that embodies our values

Merchandising Manager:
Deliver brand fashion ability through the creation and execution of store visual merchandise presentation.
Implement Brand(s) visual standards, and seasonal merchandising plans to achieve a consistency of visual display.
Develops and communicates visual set-up techniques to enhance product, inventory levels, promotional strategies that support the brand(s) and customer shopping experience.
Prepares visual communication.
Establishes partnerships with Stakeholders to ensure visual presentation standards and direction are maintained for brand consistency.
Provides visual training.
Visual execution of Home Office set up store at assigned local store; new store openings as assigned.

Who You Are
Experienced retail associate who is able to motivate, train and coach others to success
Has excellent sales skills and is committed to ensuring amazing customer experiences
Interested in fashion and has an eye for style
Committed to teamwork and can apply our philosophy that "none of us is as good as all of us"
Able to stand for extended periods, climb a ladder and to move and handle boxes of merchandise (weighing up to 30 pounds) and fixtures throughout the store
Has flexible availability; shift managers can work a combination of daytime, evening and weekend shifts
