We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Supply Chain Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing our company's supply chain and logistics strategy and operations to maximize efficiency and productivity. This role involves inventory management, materials planning, distribution, and logistics to ensure that our products are delivered to customers in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Management:

  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures.
  • Monitor inventory levels and perform regular audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Coordinate with the engineering and production teams to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Analyze inventory data to forecast demand and optimize stock levels.

2. Manufacturing Planning:

  • Collaborate with production to develop manufacturing schedules.
  • Ensure alignment between production schedules and inventory needs.
  • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency.

3. Distribution and Logistics:

  • Plan and oversee the distribution and logistics activities.
  • Optimize transportation routes and methods to reduce costs and improve delivery times.
  • Manage relationships with logistics service providers and negotiate contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to transportation and distribution.

4. Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Utilize supply chain software to track performance metrics.
  • Generate reports on key supply chain KPIs and present findings to management.
  • Use data analytics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a related role.
  • Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CSCP) is preferred.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDA).
  • Strong knowledge of logistics, inventory management, and manufacturing processes.

Interview Process

● Qualified candidates will be invited to a 30-minute video or telephone pre-screening.

● Short-listed candidates will interview with the Hiring Manager.

● In certain cases, you will be asked to prepare, in advance, a brief presentation or complete a short technical test.

● Finalists will be invited for a second interview with the Owner(s)

● The process is expected to take 2-4 weeks from pre-screen to offer.
