- Support and Optimize: Coordinate financial planning and analysis for our supply chain, contributing to cost-saving strategies and ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
- Cross-Departmental Impact: Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and production teams to enhance financial performance and support integrated business planning (IBP) activities.
- Growth and Development: Contribute to risk management, compliance, and strategic decision-making, supporting cross-functional teams and driving company-wide improvements.
We count on your expertise to enhance our inbound and outbound logistics financial processes. You'll coordinate standardized freight reporting, monitor and analyze costs, calculate month-end freight accruals, and track demurrage charges. Additionally, you'll support fleet management and assess fleet maintenance costs.
Main responsibilities include:
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop financial models, support the preparation of forecasts and reports, and oversee supply chain cost management.
- Cost Control: Identify and support the implementation of cost-saving opportunities, analyze procurement and logistics costs, and help manage financial aspects of inbound and outbound logistics.
- KPI Management: Perform analysis of Days in Inventory Outstanding (DIO) and Days of Coverage (DOC) KPIs, assist in monitoring and analyzing freight costs, and help calculate month-end accruals.
- IBP Process Support: Increase the maturity level of our IBP process, track benefits, and follow up on customer service and supply chain KPIs.
- Risk Management: Identify financial risks, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in finance or supply chain management, with a focus on financial analysis and cost management.
Skills:
- Digital savvy, with experience using an ERP, and the ability to automate manual processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Bilingual French and English is an asset.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools.
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail: Ensuring accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
- Strategic thinking: Developing long-term strategies for cost management and supply chain optimization.
- Leadership: Leading cross-functional teams and influencing decision-making.
- Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
