THE ROLE

We are currently seeking a Full Time Team Leader - Grocery to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have passion and knowledge for all things produce and will assist the Grocery Management Team in overseeing the daily department operations, including delegating tasks, training and developing employees, providing exemplary customer service, upholding store policies, and ensuring the proper rotation and display of product to meet our high standards for freshness and quality.


  1. Assist in managing, motivating, training, and developing staff according to company policies and procedures.
  2. Merchandise produce so that it is organized and visually appealing to maximize sales and uphold overall store appearance.
  3. Control product rotation with grocery floor stock, manage floor displays to ensure limited product loss, execute in-store specials when necessary.
  4. Provide exceptional customer service in all situations, including returns and complaints.
  5. Maintain store and display signage to set standards.
  6. Maintain a high level of overall cleanliness, organization, and product quality.
  7. Monitor sales floor for loss-prevention and store security purposes.
  8. Be a role model and inspire behavior consistent with our values.
  9. Provide exceptional customer service to all Team Members, customers, and vendors.

What You Bring To The Table

  1. At least one year of retail supervisory experience in a grocery, food specialty or produce environment.
  2. A passion for providing superior customer service and sharing produce knowledge.
  3. A positive attitude and the desire to lead and motivate a team.
  4. The physical ability to stand for long periods of time and lift 25-50lbs repeatedly.
  5. The ability to multi-task and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment.
  6. The availability to work a variety of shifts including evenings and at least one weekend day.
