We are working with a growing and leading construction company that specializes in residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects. As our client continues to grow, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operations Manager to join a collaborative team.


Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our construction projects, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across all departments. This role involves managing human resources, logistics, and operations while working closely with project managers to ensure smooth project execution. The Operations Manager will report directly to the owner and play a critical role in strategic planning and decision-making.


The Operations Manager will oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of staff, manage employee relations, performance reviews, and ensure compliance with labor laws specific to the construction industry. They will develop and implement HR policies and procedures to enhance workplace culture and productivity. The role requires streamlining and optimizing operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs, developing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational goals are met, and implementing and maintaining quality control standards across all construction operations.


Coordination of logistics and supply chain activities, including procurement, inventory management, and distribution, is a key responsibility. The Operations Manager will ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services, manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners, and work closely with project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. They will provide operational support and resources to project teams as needed and assist in the development of project plans and timelines.


The Operations Manager will prepare and present operational reports to the owner, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. They will participate in strategic planning sessions and contribute to the development of business strategies, monitor industry trends, and implement best practices to maintain a competitive edge.


Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Construction Management, or a related field is required, along with proven experience in operations management within the construction industry.
  • The candidate should have a strong understanding of HR practices and labor laws, excellent organizational and leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and operations management software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
