Job Description
GEIis seeking aspiring professionals who have a positive impact onGEI’sland development infrastructure and water resources team and are interested in working collaboratively with a talented team of design, management, and technical leaders. This position will supportGEI’sland development engineering practice in our Markham, Ontario office, which provides services in a wide range of settings. Representative projects for the land development and civil site design for residential, industrial, commercial, and municipal sites.
Primary Responsibilities:
Experience with a variety of water resources projects within the land development industry
Develop and apply hydrological and hydraulic models
Perform hydrology assessments and associated reporting
Conceptual, preliminary, and detailed engineering for water resources projects
Preparation of technical memos, reports, construction plans and specifications

Looking for Candidates Who: Undergraduate Degree in Water Resources Engineering or directly related field from a recognized university
3+ years of water resources design and/or field experience
Experienced with standard analysis programs, AutoCAD, PCSWMM, Visual Otthymo, Microsoft office programs, and other associated programs is desired
Exhibit a strong work ethic and high degree of motivation
Experience with writing technical reports
Committed to technical excellence
