Role Overview:

As a key member of our senior team, your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Preparing complex compilation files and working papers for review and audit engagements
  • Planning and executing various engagement tasks
  • Handling personal, trust, and corporate tax returns
  • Engaging professionally with clients and building lasting relationships
  • Collaborating with Managers and Partners to support firm growth
  • Contributing to special projects and other related tasks

Candidate Profile:

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • A degree or diploma in accounting or a related field
  • Successful completion of the CFE or be in advanced pursuit of the CPA designation
  • At least 3 years of experience in public accounting with a CPA firm
  • Expertise in Canadian ASPE, tax compliance/planning, and relevant legislation
  • Proficiency in CaseWare, Taxprep, and Microsoft 365 Suite
  • Experience with QuickBooks and Sage50
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Self-motivation, with a readiness to embrace new challenges
  • An unwavering commitment to detail and high standards of client service
  • Leadership abilities and experience in mentoring and training junior staff
