Shelter Canadian has an opening in its Head Office for an enthusiastic and career-oriented individual to assume an Experienced Analyst position in the Financial Reporting department. The Analyst will engage in meaningful work that supports the delivery of service to our stakeholders.

With reference to IFRS, ASPE, and Accounting Standards for Not-for-Profit Organizations, the Experienced Analyst will perform/prepare account analysis, working paper files, and financial statements for Shelter-managed properties and entities. Responsibilities include cash flow and financing analysis, the preparation of rent review submissions, and auditor communication.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) degree with a major in accounting. Preference may be given to candidates who are currently pursuing their accounting designation.

This position provides candidates with a structured CPA training and mentorship program with opportunities for advancement in an environment that encourages professional development.
