About the Role:
The Senior Recruitment Associate is a key member of the Search Recruitment team working closely with Engagement Managers on finance and accounting talent recruitment mandates.
This role is pivotal in finding and engaging top passive and active talent through proactive outreach, leveraging multiple strategies. Once engaged, the Senior Recruitment Associate will develop a market map and engagement strategy to find, attract, and evaluate talent. The Senior Recruitment Associate will conduct candidate interviews (screening/technical interviews), assess qualifications and interest, build candidate profiles, and play an integral role in shortlisting and presenting candidates to clients.
What You’ll Do:
- Reporting to the Team Lead-Search Recruitment, you will be responsible for delivering strong candidate shortlists for a set of engagements as a member of a team of recruiters and client engagement managers.
- Using your exceptional relationship-building skills, you will work on active roles by sourcing candidates (Linkedin, Indeed, Bullhorn), screen candidates for roles, interview candidates and work closely with the client engagement manager to support a candidate through the client interview process (resume prep, interview prep, interview debrief, present offer)
- You will be self motivated to meet your deadlines, have a can-do attitude and collaborate with the client engagement manager to ensure they are reasonable.
- You will demonstrate your critical thinking expertise to assess alignment of candidates technical skills, fit and experience with the job requirements.
- You will show natural aptitude for creative problem solving, understanding that the answer may not be obvious.
- You will drive excellence, leveraging various data sources and systems to source, cultivate, consolidate and nurture a highly qualified candidate pool.
- Always act with your candidate’s best interest in mind and be a partner to them throughout their career journey, using your empathetic people skills along with the data, tools and insights Clarity provides.
- You will gain client-facing business partnering experience through supporting job intakes, advising clients on the talent market trends, and identifying sales opportunities. Your ability to connect the dots and recognize opportunities wherever possible is an asset.
Who You Are and What You'll Bring
- A minimum of an undergraduate degree, preferably in Business or Economics
- 3-5 years of experience in agency recruitment (360 or 180), ideally focused on placing full-time roles in the Accounting and Finance sector (roles ranging from Financial Analyst to Controller).
- Strong communication and presentation skills with comfort writing and speaking to a senior-level audience
- A goal-achiever, you excel at time management to meet weekly metrics and submission deadlines
- Strong business acumen and understanding of senior-level roles and responsibilities, including market trends and competitive landscape
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- You always bring your A-game and positive attitude, motivation, persistence, and a competitive edge to complement a top-performing team
- You are comfortable using MS Office (or similar) and various recruiting tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, ZoomInfo and Bullhorn.
- Able to attend in-person staff meetings/events at our Oakville or Toronto (ON) office locations as needed or required.
