POSITION SUMMARY

In the ultimate goal of increasing market shares of our brand and revenues within the province of Ontario, the territory manager is primarily responsible for developing new business by offering innovative, efficient, and energy-efficient transportation solutions. The strategy mainly consists of creating and maintaining relationships through dealer networks while developing direct relationships with end users.

PRINCIPAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve annual revenue targets.
  2. Establish and maintain relationships with dealers and stakeholders.
  3. Identify and secure new business opportunities within the Ontario market.
  4. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients and partners.
  5. Generate and follow up on sales leads through cold calling and networking.
  6. Collaborate with the team to develop and implement campaigns to increase brand awareness and lead generation.
  7. When requested, resolve customer issues and complaints aiming for total customer satisfaction.
  8. Provide accurate sales forecasts and status reports to sales and business development management.
  9. Maintain excellent relationships with our service and warranty partner in Ontario.

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. Relevant experience could compensate for schooling.
  2. Minimum of 3 years experience in territory management or sales.
  3. Knowledge of the transportation, truck, or trailer industry would be considered a definite asset.
  4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of the team.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
  8. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel within Ontario.
  9. Ability to travel, from time to time, to our head office based in Terrebonne, Quebec for meetings or training purposes.
