Description: Thompson Construction Group under the Thompson Builders sector has an immediate opening for a Project Coordinator in our Edmonton area of operations.
Responsibilities:
- Weekly cost summaries
- Daily load count reports
- Job costing / tracking on unit rate work
- Daily LEM reporting
- Monthly volume tracking and invoicing support to Project Manager
- Participation in weekly progress meetings
- Participation in weekly supervisor and management meetings
- Bi-monthly camp reports
- Review daily foreman reports for coding
- Job site visits with management and supervision
- Scheduling reports
- Assisting with budget estimates and quotes
- Month end accrual reporting
Qualifications:
- Civil Engineering Tech Diploma or Engineering Degree
- Minimum 1-3 years of related experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Superior computer skills and technical writing
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Willingness to work in remote area working on a rotational schedule
- CSTS/OSSA or BSO/CSO Certification
- Must be able to pass a pre-access drug and alcohol test
