About the Lycée Français de Toronto
The Lycée Français de Toronto (LFT) offers the learning excellence of the French Ministry of Education within the vibrant Toronto life and Canadian culture. Accredited from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 12, LFT has built a strong reputation in Toronto and within the Agency for French Education Abroad network (AEFE). Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a University Counselor at Lycée Français de Toronto. The University Counselor will be responsible for providing guidance and support to students in their university applications, organizing college fairs and information sessions, and building relationships with universities and colleges.
Additionally, the counselor will assist students in exploring career paths and academic opportunities.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to provide guidance and support
- Knowledge of university application processes and requirements
- Experience in organizing events and fairs related to higher education
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and university representatives
- Understanding of career counseling and academic advising
- Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Higher Education, or related field
- Certification in College Counseling is an asset
