What you’ll work on:

  • Within a team of engineers, project managers, and estimators, the Pursuits Coordinator provides engineering services for a range of design build project pursuits, including design, technical documentation, cost estimates, and tender submissions. This position provides a unique opportunity to design using Steelcon’s proprietary SIN Beam.
  • Review and evaluate design build project opportunities to create solutions and develop value engineering strategies while complying with client requirements to achieve the ultimate goal of securing winning bids
  • Prepare preliminary designs for design build projects, including detailed scope lists and assumptions for secondary components that will be required to complete the remainder of the design
  • Support estimators in the completion of final cost estimates for the final submission, ensuring a high quality, technically efficient, and cost-effective project solution
  • Support the coordination of design completion upon project award
  • Pursue, build, and maintain strong relationships in the industry to enable effective communication/ties to the local market
  • Actively participate in industry trade associations and strategic industry activities for lead generation and visibility of the company
