Bitstrapped seeks a hands-on Technical Project Manager (TPM) to oversee the development and implementation of client projects and long-standing programs. The TPM will oversee the development and implementation of data and machine learning projects for Google Cloud products and Clients across many industries.

As the TPM, you will be accountable for building, developing, and maintaining technical project plans. The TPM will collaborate closely with the delivery team solutions architects and subject matter experts to lead the creation and refinement of project plans and delivery. The TPM must comprehend project interdependencies, enabling engagement with cross-functional teams as needed.

The role requires the TPM to effectively collaborate with stakeholders to understand the necessary skills for various job roles, gain baseline knowledge of cloud products and operations, read and comprehend technical documents. Possessing technical engineering knowledge to accurately define and manage project and operational KPIs, assess technical and commercial risks, and challenge operations decisions made in a cross-functional setting is a plus.

The candidate will:

  • Formulates, implements, and drives project requirements, workflows, and plans, while managing timelines, resources, communications, quality, risks, addressing roadblocks, defining critical paths, identifying resource constraints, and other issues that arise.
  • Establishes, develops, and sustains skills matrices for an entire business line.
  • Collaborates with operations leaders, subject matter experts, and training leaders to determine relevant skill sets and their organization.
  • Works with cross-functional teams to drive successful implementation of skills matrices.
  • Assumes the role of team administrator, overseeing the effective utilization of the Delivery team.
  • Discerns software development requirements and proficiently communicates them to the development team.
  • Leverages Asana or similar tools to streamline workflow and proactively track progress.
  • Maintains consistent and transparent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Optimizes productivity by delivering valuable results in a dynamic, ever-changing environment of shifting priorities.
  • Exhibits exceptional skills in prioritization, adeptly directing resources to achieve objectives.
  • Works autonomously, exercising sound judgment, and effectively delivers on assigned tasks.
  • Resolves inter-team conflicts tactfully and productively, promoting positive team dynamics.

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years of program/project management experience in a technical, fast paced, highly fluid environment, or other evidence of exceptional ability. PMP is preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in Jira, Asana, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity in several Agile principles - Scrum, Kanban etc.
  • Self-organized, outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated, applied experience delivering complex programs and projects.
  • Experience working with stakeholders, Clients & Engineering Managers to keep everyone aligned.
  • Ability to work in ambiguous environment managing multiple projects, priorities, and urgent issues simultaneously
  • Documented history of making significant contributions to the development, successful implementation, of new training programs, and providing ongoing, post-implementation admin support
  • Exceptional ability to build working relationships with colleagues across teams.
  • Ability to go beyond training to engage with technical teams with project management as needed
