Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of network engineers and help desk professionals.
  • Provide coaching and career development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and innovation.
  • Build and maintain strong business partnerships to understand and address infrastructure needs.
  • Foster collaboration between technical teams and business units to ensure infrastructure initiatives are aligned with business goals.
  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of on-premise data centers, ensuring 99.999% uptime, optimal performance, and reliability.
  • Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, workstations, network devices, operating systems, and applications.
  • Monitor and optimize network performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage relationships with hardware, software, and service vendors, negotiating contracts, and overseeing service-level agreements.
  • Anticipate and plan infrastructure changes by evaluating potential risks and impacts, while ensuring minimal disruption and clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Lead infrastructure projects by managing budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure successful delivery and alignment with business objectives.
  • Establish and maintain best practices, processes, and procedures to drive consistency and operational efficiency.
  • Implement and continuously measure and enhance cyber and network security strategies.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices, embodying the spirit of a lifelong learner to integrate innovative solutions into our business.


Primary Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of hands-on network and infrastructure experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of delivering infrastructure projects and managing high availability on-premise data centers with minimal disruptions.
  • Deep understanding of network architecture, server management, virtualization, cloud computing, and data center operations.
  • Expertise in cybersecurity best practices, including knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, encryption, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience managing and administrating Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
  • Project management skills to plan and execute complex IT infrastructure projects
  • Network certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNP, CCNA or equivalent.


Additional Qualifications:

  • Cybersecurity certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) principles.
  • Experience with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Data Loss Prevention systems like Microsoft Purview
