THE ROLE

Our Client is looking for a General Labourer to work in a manufacturing plant located in Delta. The right candidate will be performing the unloading/loading of products and operating a forklift from time to time. This is a full-time morning shift (6:30 am to 3:00 pm) working Monday to Friday.

Please note this is a temporary position transitioning to permanent depending on performance after 4-5 months.

Job Duties

  1. Operating the forklift (SDCB) on some occasions. Experience is a strong asset.
  2. Stacking pallets
  3. Unloading and loading products
  4. Shipping / Receiving and organizing inventory
  5. General duties as required by the Production Supervisor
  6. Maintaining a clean environment
  7. Manual lifting

Requirements

  1. 2+ years of experience in a similar role. Warehousing or general labor
  2. Some forklift experience
  3. Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
  4. Steel-toed work boots
  5. Experience dealing with chemicals/fiberglass is an asset
  6. A punctual, team player, and organized worker with the ability to follow instructions
