Crew Chief

We are seeking passionate and enthusiastic individuals to join our team at IHOP in Bedford as Crew Chief/ Server Supervisor.

We are looking for weekday evening availabilities and weekend open availabilities.

The Crew Chief will assist in directing Team Members in all phases of operation to achieve high standards of food preparation and presentation, service to guests, general cleanliness, and a pleasant atmosphere in accordance with all Standard Operating Procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in ensuring that all personnel, equipment, and supplies are prepared and ready to meet the needs of the business. Assist in assigning Team Member duties and responsibilities and encouraging teamwork.
• Assist in conducting orientation and training for new Team Members and give refresher training to current Team Members when needed.
• Supervise Team Member performance and conduct in accordance with Company policies.
• Observe guest reactions to the quality of food and service.
• Review all time cards (or time reports) daily as required by the Unit Manager.
• Adjust schedules to meet the needs of the restaurant.
• Enforce portion control per Standard Operating Procedures. Check deliveries for proper quantity, quality, pricing, completeness of order, breakage, and spoilage.
• Maintain tight security.
• Control waste.
• Perform administrative/accounting and other duties assigned by the Manager or Assistant Manager.

REQUIREMENTS

• A minimum of 1 year experience in a serving supervisory role.
• In-depth knowledge of front of house responsibilities.
• Planning and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work well in a stressful and fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and conflict management abilities.
• Outstanding communication and organizational skills.
• Able to demonstrate leadership capabilities.
• People management - mentoring, coaching, development, providing constructive feedback, etc.
• Food safety certificate - asset.
