Vendor Manager

About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and measuring the profit and loss (P&L) for our vendor line. Responsible for forecasting, inventory analysis, vendor relationship and program management. You will be responsible for analyzing market data to identify trends and business growth opportunities.
What You’ll Do
· Monitors and measures P&L for vendor line and makes recommendations for improvement by continuously monitor and evaluate the financial performance of the vendor line.
· Act as the primary point of contact for supporting vendor programs and claims, serving as the go-to person for internal teams and external vendors.
· Responsible for meeting/exceeding monthly revenues, Net GM% and Net GM$
· May make recommendations for operational improvement and revenue growth potential.
· Prepares and analyzes forecasts and inventory by developing accurate and comprehensive forecasts for vendor products or services.
· Serves as an operational escalation point for vendor lines.
· Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges or bottlenecks.
· Collaborate with sales representatives to develop effective strategies for promoting vendor products.
· Assist with customer inquiries, pricing, and negotiations related to vendor offerings.
· Builds and maintains relationships with vendors at an intermediate level.
· Communicate effectively with vendors to negotiate terms, resolve disputes, and maintain positive partnerships.
· Analyzes market data to identify trends and opportunities by creating report and presentations. Conduct basic market research and analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
What We’re Looking For
· 1-3 years of relevant work experience
· Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent years of marketing/product experience; High School Graduate required
· Strong analytical and market research skills
· Effective communication and negotiation abilities
· Ability to identify and resolve operational challenges
· Proficiency in creating reports and presentations
· Ability to multitask and adapt to new systems quickly
· Strong organizational and time management skills
À propos du rôleDans ce rôle, vous serez responsable de surveiller et de mesurer les profits et pertes (P&L) de notre ligne de fournisseurs. Vous serez responsable des prévisions, de l'analyse des stocks, des relations avec les fournisseurs et de la gestion des programmes. Vous serez également chargé d'analyser les données du marché pour identifier les tendances et les opportunités de croissance commerciale.
Ce que vous ferez- Surveiller et mesurer les P&L de la ligne de fournisseurs et faire des recommandations pour l'amélioration en surveillant et en évaluant continuellement la performance financière de la ligne de fournisseurs.
- Agir en tant que point de contact principal pour le soutien des programmes et des réclamations des fournisseurs, en servant de personne de référence pour les équipes internes et les fournisseurs externes.
- Être responsable de l'atteinte/dépassement des revenus mensuels, du pourcentage de marge brute nette (Net GM%) et du montant de marge brute nette (Net GM$).
- Faire des recommandations pour l'amélioration opérationnelle et le potentiel de croissance des revenus.
- Préparer et analyser les prévisions et les stocks en développant des prévisions précises et complètes pour les produits ou services des fournisseurs.
- Servir de point d'escalade opérationnel pour les lignes de fournisseurs.
- Identifier et résoudre de manière proactive les défis opérationnels ou les goulots d'étranglement.
- Collaborer avec les représentants commerciaux pour développer des stratégies efficaces de promotion des produits des fournisseurs.
- Aider aux demandes des clients, à la tarification et aux négociations liées aux offres des fournisseurs.
- Établir et maintenir des relations avec les fournisseurs à un niveau intermédiaire.
- Communiquer efficacement avec les fournisseurs pour négocier les termes, résoudre les différends et maintenir des partenariats positifs.
- Analyser les données du marché pour identifier les tendances et les opportunités en créant des rapports et des présentations. Effectuer des recherches de marché de base et analyser les données pour identifier les tendances, les opportunités et le paysage concurrentiel.
- 1 à 3 ans d'expérience de travail pertinente
- Diplôme de baccalauréat préféré ou années équivalentes d'expérience en marketing/produit; Diplôme d'études secondaires requis
- Compétences solides en analyse et en recherche de marché
- Capacités de communication et de négociation efficaces
- Capacité à identifier et résoudre les défis opérationnels
- Maîtrise de la création de rapports et de présentations
- Capacité à gérer plusieurs tâches et à s'adapter rapidement à de nouveaux systèmes
