Data Entry / Sales Assistant


Location: Vancouver BC

Department: Sales

Reports To: Sales Manager


We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Data Entry / Sales Assistant to support our sales team with data entry tasks, administrative duties, and communication responsibilities - and ad-hoc marketing duties. This role involves working extensively with Google Sheets, Excel, and email communication. The ideal candidate will have exceptional typing speed (75+ WPM), a strong grasp of Excel shortcuts, and outstanding communication skills. This hire needs to be based in Vancouver, BC.


Responsibilities:

  • Accurately input and update data in Google Sheets and Excel for sales tracking, reporting, and analysis.
  • Assist in organizing and maintaining customer databases and sales records.
  • Communicate effectively via email with internal teams to coordinate sales activities and updates.
  • Prepare and format spreadsheets for sales reports, presentations, and project tracking.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing sales-related communications.
  • Assist with preparing sales proposals, quotations, and other documents as needed.
  • Perform general administrative duties such as scheduling meetings, organizing files, and handling data requests.
  • Support sales team with ad-hoc projects and research tasks.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Have an understanding of organization charts - who reports to who in a business
  • Proven experience in data entry and administrative support, preferably in a sales environment.
  • Typing speed of 75+ WPM with a high level of accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, including knowledge of formulas, shortcuts, and pivot tables.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally and clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to tasks.
  • Experience with email platforms and calendar management tools.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with CRM software or sales tracking tools is a plus.
  • Previous experience supporting a sales team or department is a bonus.

Full-time M-F OR Monday to Thursday
