The Role
Fig is looking for a bilingual Jr. Lending Consultant to help us grow our business while supporting and educating our customers on their financial journey. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Customer Experience, this role is crucial in fostering strong, lasting relationships with our applicants, ensuring they feel confident and informed as they transition into satisfied borrowers.
As a Jr. Lending Consultant, you will be the first point of contact for potential borrowers, playing a pivotal role in guiding them through the application process, addressing their concerns, and ultimately helping them convert into borrowers. Your contributions will directly impact our customers' experience and Fig’s conversion goals. This position offers a unique opportunity to grow with the company, develop your skills in a dynamic environment, and make a meaningful difference in our customers' lives.
What you'll do
- Engage with applicants in both French and English, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Facilitate inbound call requests and emails from applicants, answering questions and guiding them through the process.
- Conduct outbound calls and emails to leads, driving successful conversions and building long-term relationships.
- Serve as the initial contact to effectively communicate Fig's value proposition to potential borrowers.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Customer Experience teams to refine conversion strategies and enhance offerings.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly targets and daily KPIs for engagement activities.
- Support and educate potential borrowers, leading to successful conversions.
What you'll need
- Excellent communication: Fully bilingual in French and English, both written and verbal.
- 1-2 years of experience in sales or customer service.
