Job Description

Manulife Bank is seeking a bilingual, highly motivated individual to join our Client Services, New Accounts team on a regular full-time basis. The New Accounts team is responsible for managing new applications for Deposit & Investments and Loan products. The team is accountable to ensure all applications are in good order prior to opening an account. They also provide knowledgeable support to our National Account/Corporate Account back-office business partners, Service Centre partners, FAST team, and Banking Consultants.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure new applications are in good order. Verbal and written communication is required.
  • Meet quality, service level, and productivity targets while providing an exceptional client experience.
  • Make decisions that are in the best interest of the client and business, using sound risk assessment.
  • Ensure enhanced due diligence is applied for Related parties, Politically Exposed People, and High-Risk Clients.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to reduce effort and improve process and the client experience.
  • Hours are 9-5, with flexibility to work overtime during peak season and in high volume situations.

  • Bilingualism in French & English.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Salary and Benefits

The annual base salary for this position is indicated below.

Main Region: Waterloo, Ontario

Salary Range: $41,925.00 CAD - $69,875.00 CAD
