Position: Regulatory Administrator - – Caldic Canada Inc.

Location: Mississauga

Department: Regulatory

Position reports to: Regulatory Supervisor

Status: Full time (1 year contract)

Availability: 2024 Salary: Competitive compensation pkg offered


Position function and scope: Reporting to the Regulatory Supervisor, the individual will be responsible for supporting the regulatory team members in a variety of moderately complex and administrative duties. This role will ensure documentation is available as part of the commercialization process, while assisting in the annual review and update of product documentation.


MAJOR TASKS AND DUTIES:

• Coordinate and request technical information (GMO, Prop 65, Etc.) from suppliers

• Create/update safety data sheets as part of the commercialization process

• Assign ticket requests

• Maintain technical packages for ingredients, resale and manufactured products

• Manage Kosher applications for manufactured products

• Other tasks as assigned


KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Science Degree or Diploma, or Enrolled in a university or college (Preference for specialization in Food Science/Regulatory Affairs).

• Working knowledge of Canadian Food and Drug Regulations and US Code of Federal Regulations considered an asset.

• Proven ability to multi-task and work in fast pace customer centric environment

• Strong attention to detail and follow through skills

• Experience in a Customer Service role is an asset

• Superior organization and time management

• Team player with exceptional communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills
