The Job

As part of the Accounting team, you will:

Support tasks and projects handled by the Accounting department

Update and maintain the accounting system

Track various accounting activities

Communicate with internal contacts regarding accounts

Follow-up on account matters in need of resolution

Respond to inquiries and assist with requests

Ensure progress towards targets and monthly goals

Identify and resolve any discrepancies

Maintain current and accurate documents and information

Support e-billing, WIP, and receivables

Prepare financial/accounting reports for review

Ensure collections are completed in a timely manner

Other tasks as assigned



What you bring to the job

A degree or diploma in Accounting

At least 6 months of experience with accounting, billings, and/or collections

Proficiency with MS Office Suite as well as accounting systems

E-billing experience would be a strong asset

A professional, service-oriented approach and strong work ethic

Excellent ability to learn, adapt, and manage multiple priorities

High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Strong organizational and time management skills

Solid communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and collaborative with a team

Confidentiality, discretion, and sound judgment
