Overview

Teccweb is looking a project manager to join our Project Management Office. Role would initially be to support with the project management of Kinetic ERP software implementation and upgrade projects but there is room to grow into leading other projects within our organization. Teccweb has built out a project management methodology to support ERP rollouts that we would teach to the successful applicant, but candidate must have proven software project management experience and be able to talk to how they have successfully managed scope creep on projects, handled staffing changes within a customers organization that impact a project, provided budget to actuals reporting, handled escalations, and talk other types of change management experience such as mid implementation upgrades, defects with the software being implemented, and gap management. We expect someone who can effectively work with both a customers team and their executive sponsors, , and our internal team, to complete work efficiently, within scope, and meet project milestones.

Required Skillset

  • Proven project management experience with Kinetic ERP implementations, particularly multi-company, including determining project roles, responsibilities, and delivery dates for customer, and internal team members
  • Ability to have hard conversations with sponsors and stakeholders and hold them accountable to the scope in the statement of work, and a mutually agreed schedule for the project
  • Willingness to support existing Project Managers as needed on open projects
  • Excellent customer facing skills, on camera, and off, willingness to conduct onsite visits as needed to forge relationships with sponsors and stakeholders
  • Experience producing and talking to budget to actual reports
  • Excellent written communications, able to quickly summarize project meetings with decisions made and next steps after project calls for both executives and core team members
  • Ability to produce risk assessment documents when projects are deviating from agreed scope, timeline or budget, with a corrective action plan as determined by the project team
  • Able to work with a wide variety of personalities, adapting style where needed to maintain project control, and keeping teams commited, motivated, and productive
  • Multitasker, with proven ability to switch effortlessly between multiple active projects
  • Willingness to adapt to an existing Project Management methodology
  • Ability to project manage remotely, for customers in both the East and West coast.
  • Drive to move project forwards, ability to exhibit creative thinking when things stall with customers
  • Project Management qualifications, or significant work experience in the field
  • Participate in continuous improvement, collaboratively, of existing project management toolset documents and templates
  • Willingness to continue education to become familiar with the products we implement

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, finance, or a related field
  • Additional degrees or certifications such as PMI a plus, particularly as related to project management
  • At least 5 years of prior experience in project management with the implementation Epicor ERP projects is desired
  • Functional knowledge of Epicor is desired
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ablility to travel to 25%
  • Flexible schedule
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project, and other Microsoft Office tools
