In this role, you will collaborate closely with the team's founding members, offering crucial insights to support our tech-driven manufacturing growth while leading financial planning, analysis, and reporting. Your leadership will be vital in shaping critical decisions that will guide Print Geek through its next growth phase.

The Skills & Expertise That You Bring to the Table
- Manufacturing Expertise: Experience in the manufacturing sector is essential. You have a strong focus on cost accounting and operational efficiency.
- Independence & Entrepreneurial Drive: You are a proactive self-starter with a passion for innovation and financial growth. Thriving in fast-paced, high-growth environments, you confidently take ownership of your role, implementing process improvements and making decisions independently.
- CPA Designation: Active CPA with 7+ years of experience in accounting and finance.
- ERP Experience: Daily use of ERP systems and financial modelling tools.
- Leadership & Strategy: Strong leadership skills with a track record in strategic thinking, financial analysis, and translating complex data into actionable insights.
- Communication & Influence: Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence decisions at all levels of the organization.
- Desirable: Background in auditing or controllership is highly valued.
Your Responsibilities at Print Geek
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Provide detailed financial analysis and budgeting. Develop KPIs to improve business performance and support new product lines and geographic expansion initiatives.
- Operational Efficiency: Oversee the integration and utilization of our ERP system (Odoo), focusing on inventory management, process costing, and production scheduling. Implement cost analysis and efficiency measures around COGS, production, and overheads.
- Cash Flow Management: Manage working capital, forecast cash flow, and ensure billings and client payments accuracy. Monitor inventory cash impact to improve management practices.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and manage accurate budgeting and forecasting processes based on sound assumptions and historical data.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, internal controls, and tax reporting. Identify and mitigate financial risks and implement strategies to protect the company.
- General Accounting: Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes and prepare monthly and annual financial reports. Manage the activities of our fractional bookkeeper and assist with external audits.
