Bittele Electronics Inc. is an established Turn-Key PCB assembly company specializing in prototype and low-to-mid volume PCB assembly. Our facility in Toronto, Canada incorporates our Head Office, Sales Office, Parts Procurement Team, as well as our new State-of-the-Art PCB Assembly line. In business since 2003, we are securing a strong brand name and reputation in low-to-mid volume Turn-key PCB assembly throughout the EMS industry.
Currently hiring a Planner to support the activities in relation to order planning. Salary is dependent upon experience.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Managing the Production Planning File: Managing and maintaining the material section of the production planning file including PCB, stencil, parts ready dates, and CTB, converting flexible orders to firm orders and firm orders to frozen orders, and passing these orders to the assembly facility in Shenzhen with the target finish date.
- Adding New Orders to Production Planning File: Adding new orders to the production planning file, converting those orders to flexible orders, and splitting the orders into batches in case a client decides to split the assembly.
- Order Analysis: Analyzing the general technical specifications of an order to calculate the assembly time required to assemble this project (in case of undefined process time, reaching out to the engineering team).
- Tracking Order Activities until Production: Following up with all related stakeholders to get the PCB, stencil, parts ready dates, and pushing teams to finish tasks like parts counting, IQC, and client confirmation on time to move the orders into production in a timely manner.
- Resolving Issues: Collecting feedback from all departments and resolving issues impacting the order execution or planning process.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously improving the production planning process to make it more efficient by participating in different projects like ERP production planning module.
- Executing Additional Planning Activities: Executing additional planning activities based on planning team discussions.
- Order Prioritizing: Processing order prioritization requests or expedited requests from the sales team and project coordinators, negotiating with the assembly plant to expedite the order.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (Optional): A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
- Organized, self-motivated team player, able to work well under pressure.
- Effective time management skills as well as prioritization and execution to ensure optimization of results with minimal lost time.
- Knowledge of electronics components is an asset.
- Strong skills with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
