Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Salesforce Project Manager (PM) to lead Salesforce implementation and enhancement projects for our banking client in Toronto. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce CRM, project management in an agile environment, and experience working in the banking or financial services industry. This is a hybrid role that requires 3 days a week in the office, with flexibility for remote work the remaining days.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage Salesforce projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring they meet business objectives, timelines, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party vendors to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee the Salesforce implementation process, including system configuration, customization, integration, and user training.
  • Ensure Salesforce projects align with the organization’s business goals, regulatory requirements, and customer experience standards.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and changes, and provide solutions to address challenges as they arise.
  • Regularly communicate project status, milestones, and potential delays to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Track and monitor the performance of Salesforce solutions post-implementation, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to project teams, promoting collaboration and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Implement agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) to ensure efficient project delivery.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Salesforce project management, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Proven track record of managing Salesforce implementations, enhancements, and integrations.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce CRM, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and other Salesforce products.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and project management frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations (API, middleware, third-party apps) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex project issues.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Salesforce Certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, etc.) are preferred.
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Trello, or similar project management tools.
  • Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance issues related to CRM systems is an advantage.


Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Salesforce project management, with at least 3+ years of experience managing large-scale projects.
  • PMP, Scrum Master, or other project management certifications are an asset.
