Job Purpose

As the Director of Delivery, your overarching mission is to provide strategic leadership and direction to a team of Project Managers, driving the successful execution of strategic software video solution projects. You are entrusted with the crucial responsibility of overseeing the entire project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. Your role is instrumental in guiding the company's initiatives to innovate and deliver state-of-the-art video solutions that elevate communication, engagement, and user experiences.

Key Job Functions

  • Assume ultimate accountability for the execution, management, and quality control of projects from initiation to successful completion, ensuring they are delivered on schedule and within budget. These contributions should significantly enhance the overall PMO portfolio of projects.
  • Develop comprehensive project and program estimates, plans, schedules, and controls, leveraging creative thinking, technical expertise, and business acumen to align with program objectives and goals.
  • Lead the advancement of policies and procedures within the PMO to facilitate teams in consistently and efficiently delivering high-quality solutions through standardized processes and tools.
  • Identify program risks and initiate and oversee mitigation activities, safeguarding project success and minimizing potential disruptions.
  • Diligently execute Change Management strategies, collaborating closely with Account Management and Sales Engineering teams to manage commercial aspects of projects.
  • Single Point of Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, vendors, and internal delivery teams.
  • Stakeholder Classification: Identify internal and external stakeholders, assessing their influence and interests to tailor communication and reporting strategies.
  • Transparent Reporting: Document and present essential program data, encompassing Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Risk, and Change, to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Issue Resolution: Lead the resolution of escalated issues and ensure timely solutions.
  • Customer and Vendor Advocacy: Uphold and promote high customer and vendor advocacy levels throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Project Governance: Assume responsibility for project governance, change management, financial control, and reporting to key internal stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business, Engineering) is required.
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in project management in the software and technology industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to completion.
  • Demonstrated experience in leadership and team management roles.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., PMBOK, Agile, Scrum).
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies and best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of video technology and solutions is advantageous.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Vital strategic planning and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Budget management and resource allocation skills.
  • Risk management and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to innovate and drive continuous improvement in project management processes

Desired Skills:

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or other relevant certifications
  • A Master's degree in a related field
  • Experience in the video solutions industry is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific tools and software.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Keen awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies.
