At Wilkens Health & Safety Solutions (WHSS), our mission is to partner with our clients to foster a safe and compliant workplace. We provide customized health and safety and human resources programs, as well as a wide variety of training programs. As accredited/approved training providers by the Ontario Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development, we are dedicated to ensuring that our clients have access to the knowledge and resources necessary to meet Occupational Health & Safety and Employment Standards legislation. We are also a service provider for the Health and Safety Excellence program with the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board.


Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Program Assistant at Wilkens Health & Safety Solutions. The Program Assistant will be responsible for assisting with program management, providing administrative assistance, conducting research, and supporting the overall operations of the company. The Program Assistant will collaborate closely with team members and clients to ensure the successful delivery of health and safety programs and services.


Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members and clients
  • Strong program management skills, with the ability to organize and prioritize tasks
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information in a clear and concise manner
  • Experience providing administrative assistance, with proficiency in office management software and tools
  • Ability to conduct research and gather relevant information to support program development and implementation
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to maintain organized and up-to-date records
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety and Employment Standards legislation is a plus
  • College diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration or Occupational Health & Safety, is preferred
