Responsabilities

Reporting to the Supervisor Terminal, the incumbent will prepare piping for painting and apply paint throughout the Terminal as part of a Preventive Maintenance Plan. More specifically, you will be responsible for painting and cleaning up the piping system in the yard and tank farm areas.

The Painter will be called upon to coordinate the necessary material, accesses, and carry out the tasks according to the internal rules of the company, all in a safe environment and supervised by experienced employees.

The incumbent will be required to work 35 to 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The targeted employment period is from June to August 2024.

The required training related to the tasks as well as health, safety and environment, will be given at the beginning of the employment. Personal protective equipment, including safety boots, will be provided. Valero also offers a competitive wage.

• High school or post-secondary student or any other equivalent experience
• Ability and interest in outdoor manual work
• Valid class 5 driver's license.
