The Company: A long-established wealth management firm is seeking a Branch Coordinator for their growing company in Langley. This role is ideal for someone wanting to transition their career from an investment Client Service Associate to a managerial/leadership role. This role will provide operational and administrative support to the branch management team, ensuring efficient and effective branch operations, client service, and compliance with investment industry regulations. As it is branch management, this is an on-site role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Support:
- Assist the Branch Manager in overseeing the daily operational tasks of the branch.
- Process investment transactions and prepare reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Client Service:
- Act as a liaison with 3rd party Investment Counselors and Portfolio Managers and address any issues that arise
- Ensure that 3rd party Investment Counselors and Portfolio Managers are complying with agreed upon KPI's
- Provide a high-quality level of communication with principals of the dealership.
- Build and maintain relationships with investment advisors.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Manage correspondence and communications.
- Prepare reports and presentations.
- Assist with onboarding new advisors
- Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with securities industry regulations and company policies.
- Assist with risk management and compliance procedures.
- Educate investment advisors on compliance procedures
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years work experience in either an IIROC, MFDA, or wealth management firm (ideally as a client service associate or compliance person)
- CSC
- Branch Managers course a definite asset but not necessary
- Strong knowledge of the investment industry and relevant regulations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Live in a commutable distance to Langley, BC
