Title: Mortgage Administrator

Contract: 07/22/2024 to 07/21/2025

Pay: 25.33/hr.

Location: Downtown Toronto, ON.


ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Set up and administer new mortgage business and process the related financial transactions.
  • Address routine queries from internal and external customers Maintain control of all security/property documents.
  • The Mortgage Funding and Broker Support team is Primarily responsible for the administering of routine residential mortgage portfolio from new loan inception to maturity or discharge.


SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:


  • General knowledge of residential mortgage business and mortgage underwriting practices.
  • Knowledge of real estate law Knowledge of mortgage-related provincial legislation.
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office programs, such as Word and Excel Previous Banking experience is an asset.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proven organization and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to understand and correctly interpret legal mortgage documents
  • Oral and written French language skills are an asset but not required.
  • During peak times overtime will be required.
