The Sr. Financial Planning Analyst is someone who can dive deep into financial analysis, provide valuable strategic insights, and help support decision-making processes. Sr. Financial Planning Analyst Details
  • Monday thru Friday - ONSITE - 8am to 5pm
  • $85K-$105K salary, based on qualifications - +Bonus

Sr. Financial Planning Analyst Responsibilities
  1. Preparing financial statements, management reports, balance sheets, and inventory reconciliations.
  2. Conducting variance analysis on actuals versus budget/forecast and providing valuable insights to senior leaders and other key stakeholders.
  3. Providing insights on top-line performance, Trade Spend, SG&A expense, and other key metrics.
  4. Development of budgets, forecasts, support for annual external audits, and addressing ad-hoc requirements.
  5. Preparation of financial reports and other deliverables to meet global deadlines as set by the financial leadership.
  6. Making sure to timely prepare and file Canada tax returns, including Income tax, VAT, CFC, BEPS filings (e.g. GloBE Information Return) and other taxes.
  7. Providing analytical support for Global Portfolio Managers and Commercial Regional Managers.
  8. Maintaining an effective internal control framework and monitoring the financial health of the entities.
Sr. Financial Planning Analyst Qualifications
  1. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Food Manufacturing.
  2. CPA Designation / Accreditation is required.
  3. Current or prior audit experience is an asset.
  4. Current or prior experience in taxation is an asset.
  5. Strong skills in technical accounting and understanding of IFRS principles.
  6. Advanced Excel skills with experience in creating complex financial models.
