Insight Global is looking for a Data Project Manager to join one of North America's largest Midstream Energy companies on a 12 month contract, with high potential to extend. This Project Manager will work to address high-impact projects/initiatives that require swift execution, two of which include; 1) decommissioning legacy warehouses and 2) standing up a new data and AI platform. The ideal candidate will have experience managing VP level relationships, and driving initiatives in an environment where push-back might be given. This role requires the candidate to sit in either Calgary or Houston and be able to work in office on an as-needed basis.
Must Have Qualifications:
- 10+ years experience as a Project Manager with strong Business Relationship Management (BRM) skills
- Previous working experience in data analysis or data warehousing projects
- Strong understanding of Agile principles with the ability to persuade the use of these principles in a waterfall environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to maintain, develop and drive senior level relationships
- Ability to initiate and establish processes and structure within cross-functional teams
- Ability to analyze and prioritize business use-cases
Plusses:
- Proficiency with Project Management tools (such as DevOps, Jira and/or Confluence)
