We have an immediate opening for an Operations/Inventory Coordinator in our Saskatoon location. This position is responsible for purchasing, inventory management, and logistics coordination of movement of goods. The ideal candidate must have experience in a similar position and have a professional manner with the ability to deal with a diverse group of people.


Responsibilities
  • Create purchase orders for materials and finished products.
  • Prioritize and expedite orders.
  • Manage logistics of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Monitor Syteline purchase order status and investigate and communicate with appropriate area when discrepancies exist.
  • Ensure invoices have been given to AP for payment after payment has been received.
  • Process claims for deficient products.
  • Maintain work instructions and process mapping as required by improvement and alignment projects.

Education
  • Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Some post-secondary education in customs/export.

Experience
  • 2 – 3 years in experience in Import/Export.
  • Intermediate level skills in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc).
  • Previous experience with ERP software (Syteline) an asset.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment an asset.
