Position Description


This role serves as the Lead for Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS) and Fusion Business Analysts, Developers, and Database Administrators assigned to the core Oracle EBS and Fusion Managed Services Team.

This position provides leadership for the Oracle EBS and Fusion Practice resources, including both employees and subcontractors. The Lead is required to develop and maintain positive relationships with key clients / partners / stakeholders to ensure effective communication channels exist and client / partner satisfaction is achieved.

This position provides recommendations for service improvement and oversees or prevents escalations for the Oracle EBS and Fusion service delivery areas. They focus on quality of service, client and end-user satisfaction, and cost management.

This position requires a high aptitude to accept complex assignments, analyze problems, provide effective solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction of service delivery.

This position reports to the Oracle Application Delivery Manager.


Duties and Responsibilities


Primary Goals


  • Ensures quality solutions and deliverables
  • Develops and implements team strategies, goals, standards, and policies to ensure alignment with the long-term goals of the organization
  • Day-to-day leadership of the Oracle EBS and Fusion resources
  • Responsible for resolving client issues and concerns on Oracle EBS and Fusion Managed Services and Professional Services contracts
  • Participates in service delivery conflict resolution and escalations
  • Acs as liaison between clients and other business teams
  • Leads continuous process improvement and standardization efforts within the team
  • Developing templates, content, and documentation repository
  • Use and development of tools
  • Develops and improves service delivery processes
  • Interfaces regularly with key stakeholders to ensure on-going client satisfaction
  • Acs as an escalation point for Project Managers working on project delivery
  • Partners with the Sales Team to help scope, estimate, and define Statements of Work (SOWs) for all Oracle EBS and Fusion services
  • Identifies, defines, develops, and implements techniques to improve engagement productivity, increase efficiency, mitigate risk, resolve issues, and achieve cost savings for clients
  • Contributes to Centrilogic project methodology from an Oracle EBS and Fusion point of view
  • Manages issues that cross-over from Functional to Technical / Special Project
  • Contributes to budget planning for the team
  • Other duties as assigned


Quality


  • Review all Statement of Work (SOWs) that include an Oracle EBS and Fusion resource before the SOW is sent to the client. Assist with the development of SOWs and estimate levels of effort.
  • Review all tangible deliverables (e.g., Assessments) before the deliverable is sent to the client
  • Contribute to overall customer service improvements for Centrilogic


Responsibilities


  • Create functional and technical specifications and documentation for required EBS software development changes, as well as implementing these specifications
  • Assist with design software test plans and work with users to develop and execute test cases for business process scenarios using the EBS applications
  • Manage post-implementation support including, but not limited to, troubleshooting applications, assisting users with production issues and additional end-user training as required
  • Additional development work may include data conversions and interfaces to third-party software products
  • Data analysis and creation of ad-hoc queries / reports
  • Performs / coordinates system maintenance on eBusiness Suite related activities, including regularly scheduled jobs
  • Work with Business Systems Analysts and business users to provide detailed system information
  • Proactively identify issues and recommend solutions
  • Determine feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions
  • Guide development teams through development life cycles to ensure project success within expected scope, budget, and timeline
  • Oversee software development to ensure quality standards are being met
  • Executes preparation and installation solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming
  • Support fixing applications through SIT, UAT, and post project implementation
  • Develop solutions and ensure completion, practices, and delivery of documentation follows standards
  • Manages large project design and solution development
  • Identify and escalate key issues as needed
  • Identify potential improvements and proactive support that can enhance our customer's experience
  • Participate on recurring and / or periodic meetings both internally and with clients
  • Perform knowledge transfer with technical and functional team members
  • Collaborate with project team to help identify resolution to issues
  • Display professionalism in all aspectsof communication with customers
  • Participate in weekly statusmeetings and provideupdates
  • Timely entry of weekly timesheet to the appropriate managed services contractin our ticketing and time entry system
  • Provide mentorship to team members
  • Identify potential improvements and proactive support that can enhance our customer's experience

  • Meet with Customer to clarify specific requirements of each project
  • Provide functional and technical specifications and work with project team for eBusiness Suite development
  • Assist with internal eBusiness Suite projects, as needed

  • Recommend solutions identified by project needs as they arise
  • Effectively document project deliverables outlined in Centrilogic’s project methodology
  • Ensure all deliverables are provided in a timely manner in a consistent format and standard agreed upon at the project onset

  • Identify and escalate key issues as needed

Required Experience & Skills


  • Previous experiences with multiple EBS implementations and upgrade project
  • Previous experience with managed services support
  • Ability to successfully work with all levels of personnel, including management
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects effectively
  • Sound work ethic and commitment to the company
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Proven ability to work independently and within established deadlines
  • Bachelor’s Degree – Computer Engineering or Management Information Systems or Business Administration
  • 5+ years of eBusiness Suite functional software experience with versions 11.0 up through and including the current version (12.2) and Fusion
  • Ability to utilize SQL for data fixes (e.g., complex queries, insert / update / delete statements)
  • Hands-on experience with XML Publisher, Oracle Reports issues
  • Experience with modules like Financials, Procurement, Logistics, Order Management / Shipping, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Human Resources, and Payroll
  • Experience with AP ACH and AP Positive Pay
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent PC skills including, but not limited to Excel and Word Skills
  • Attention to detail with higher-level problem-solving skills including situation assessment, analysis of workflows, and root cause analysis
