Tank farm labourer

GFL Ottawa is looking for tank farm laboures to support our liquids division.

*Key Responsibilities: *

* Dip and sample of the storage tanks (Working at Heights training provided);

* Pumping of containers (drums & totes);

* Sampling, dumping (pumping and shoveling), and pressure washing of vacuum trucks, tankers, and storage tanks;

* Entering Confined Spaces (Confined Space training provided);

* Troubleshooting and maintaining of pumping equipment;

* Working Indoors and Outdoors, in all weather conditions;

*Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:*

* Professional and positive attitude;

* Motivation to ensure timelines and expectations are met;

* Strong regard for safety and safe work practices;

* Forklift experience an asset, willing to train;

* G class driver’s licence in good standing with a clean driver’s abstract (an asset).

* **Must be clean shaven** in order to wear a respirator
