Medical Imaging Software Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for software developer with a Medical Imaging background to contribute to the advancement of innovative image-guided surgical navigation technologies. The role offers competitive compensation, a comprehensive benefits package, and potential for equity participation based on individual performance. This is a remote role, however a Canadian residency is mandatory.


Role Expectations:

The successful candidate will be responsible for;

  • Implementing and integrating new features
  • Refining existing workflows
  • Contributing to the development of guided navigation systems.
  • Responsibilities include coding, conducting peer reviews, performing unit testing, and more.
  • Designing and implementing image processing and analysis algorithms, developing user interfaces, and ensuring that the software is responsive and user-friendly.


Key Qualifications:

  • PhD in Computer Science or relevant field desired.
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
  • Medical Imaging background - Mandatory.
  • Strong foundation in geometry, linear algebra, 3D algorithms, and image processing.
  • Over 6 years of experience in software development, with a focus on implementing complex algorithms using C#/.NET or .NET Core, and WPF.
  • Canadian residency, preferably in the Greater Toronto Area.
