Head of Sales and Trading
As the Head of Sales and Trading, your primary objective will be to manage our largest accounts and grow our business accounts, measured by revenue growth, sign ups, and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with the leadership team to ensure this customer segment is aligned with the broader goals of Shakepay and represents our brand in every aspect.
You will
- Develop business strategies that will drive growth, profitability and competitive success for our Shakepay for Business segment.
- Conduct market and industry research to identify new opportunities.
- Guide continued client relationships as a trusted business partner throughout their customer journey.
- Improve our go to market approach for SMB and enterprise customers.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to validate opportunities and ultimately offer a best in class experience to business customers.
- Establish robust analytics and feedback loops to continuously improve on your initial strategy.
Must have
- 7+ years of relevant experience, preferably in crypto sales or business development, or traditional asset management, OTC sales or brokerage environment.
- Proven track record of contributing to revenue growth and surpassing objectives.
- Existing relationships with a number of focus clients such as hedge funds and family offices.
- Leadership experience, including P&L responsibility.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to create relationships and build rapport with partners and prospect clients.
- Experience in hiring, team building, training and managing sales staff.
Nice to have
- Financial services knowledge: Familiarity with financial services operations, compliance, and regulations. Experience in a fintech or crypto startup is a plus.
- Prior experience as an Operational leader in a fast-growing company.
