We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in documentation, process documentation, and process mapping within a digital transformation and/or IT environment. Additionally, advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel is essential for this role. As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing, documenting, and improving business processes to drive our clients' digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
  • Process Documentation: Develop comprehensive documentation of current and future state business processes, including detailed process flows, use cases, and functional requirements.
  • Process Mapping: Create detailed process maps to visualize and analyze business workflows, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Excel Analysis: Utilize advanced Excel skills for data analysis, creating complex models, and generating insightful reports to support decision-making and process improvement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team, facilitating clear communication and understanding of requirements and expectations.
  • Solution Assessment: Evaluate proposed solutions to ensure they meet business needs and align with the overall digital transformation strategy.
  • Data Analysis: Perform data analysis to support decision-making, identify trends, and provide insights into process performance and opportunities for improvement.
  • Change Management: Assist in the development and implementation of change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of new processes and technologies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and optimization, leveraging best practices and industry standards.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on digital transformation projects, SDLC projects, or similar.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMP) are a plus.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques, including process mapping software (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart), requirements management tools, and data analysis tools.
  • Highly knowledgeable in SDLC and full-stack development.
  • Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create complex formulas, pivot tables, macros, and data visualization.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with digital transformation trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
