Job Title: Senior Project Manager (Commercial & Institutional Construction)Location: Edmonton, AlbertaSalary: $125,000 - $135,000 annually (based on experience)Perks & Benefits: Employee stock option, Comprehensive Health & Dental Coverage, Professional Development Opportunities, Free Parking.Why Join Our Client?Our client is a growing and mid sized General Contractor in Edmonton specializing in multi-family, fire service, CRUs, recreational centers and other commercial and institutional projects across Edmonton and northern Alberta. You will be handed over a $20 million design build recreational center to manage and act as a coach to the other project managers managing $5 million to $10 million projects.You will join a collaborative team that has achieved great strides in the past 5 years, bagging new contracts and a recently won a novel IPD project in Edmonton.You will be fully supported by an Operations, Field, Business Development and Preconstruction team as well as assigned Project Coordinators for your respective projects. This is an opportunity to lead impactful work while being backed by a strong, collaborative team.What You'll Do:Manage commercial and institutional construction projects from planning through completion.Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.Lead and motivate project teams, including contractors and subcontractors.Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.Oversee contract administration, proposals, and negotiations.Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining quality standards.Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.Prepare and distribute regular project status reports.Provide mentorship to the Project team.What We're Looking For:8-15 years of experience in construction project management (commercial or institutional).Experience managing projects between $20 million to $50 million.Diploma or degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience.Strong leadership and team management skills. Proven experience coaching and mentoring a project team is desirable.Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.Familiarity with construction principles, practices, and regulatory requirements.Experience with MS Schedule and Procore is considered an asset.To apply for this job, click on "Easy Apply" at the top of this ad, or send your resume to .
