Title: Project ManagerLocation: Edmonton or Calgary, ABHybrid (Mon, Tues, Thurs in office)Travel Requirements - 3-5 days per monthJob SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Project Manager to oversee the facilities scope for a major gas pipeline project in British Columbia. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large-scale gas facility programs, including both greenfield and brownfield projects. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Key Responsibilities• Lead and manage the facilities scope of the project from detailed design through completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, budget, and schedule.• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders-including regulatory agencies and Indigenous communities-to ensure project success.• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.• Oversee the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor project performance.• Implement risk management strategies to proactively mitigate project risks.• Lead and mentor a team of engineering and support staff.• Foster strong relationships with senior management, external partners, and customers.Required Education• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical EngineeringAdditional Assets (Preferred)• Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (MBA) or equivalent• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designationRequired Work Experience• Minimum of 15 years of project management experience• Proven track record managing large-scale, multidisciplinary projects, including gas compression facilities• Extensive experience in stakeholder management, particularly with Indigenous communities and regulatory agencies• Demonstrated success in leading teams and managing project budgets• Strong background in safety leadership, environmental management, and regulatory complianceDesired Skills and Competencies• Excellent leadership and team management skills• Strong strategic planning and business acumen• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to evolving project requirements• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities• Commitment to safety and quality standards
