General Carpenter

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.

Responsibilities:

- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood materials according to specifications

- Install cabinets, siding, roofing, and other wooden fixtures

- Build frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes

- Repair or replace damaged framework or other structures

- Perform construction painting and caulking as needed

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role

- Proficient in using carpentry tools and equipment

- Strong knowledge of wood properties and carpentry techniques

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 1 week

Expected hours: 24 - 30 per week
