Crazy Creek Timber Frame Structures Ltd. is in the business of designing, fabricating and installing structural and non-structural Timber Frames, Timber Frame Architectural Components and Enclosure Systems within Western Canada. Crazy Creek is currently hiring a carpenter to work from our shop in Okotoks, AB that meets the following requirements.

**The position will consist of a combination of the following duties**:

- Shop work and site work.
- The distribution of work will vary from day to day and project to project.
- Shop work will consist of handling, layout, cutting, finishing, test-assembly, finishing and staining the timber frame components, house keeping, general clean-up and site maintenance.
- yard work will also be involved, including but not limited to forklift operation, general yard maintenance, inventory management (organizing and tarping) of timber inventories.
- Site work will consist of site measuring, preparation, handling, assembly, installation, clean-up, construction and framing of perimeter walls and construction of roof and specialized and common enclosure systems on site.

**We’re looking for someone who**:

- Is able to work at heights and balance on platforms, scaffolds and decks.
- Willing and able to work out of town (Approx. 2-3 one week trips/year
- 5+ years of general carpentry experience.
- Able to work alone, or as part of a team.
- Display good verbal and written communication skills when working with other employees.

**Other Requirements**:

- Workers must provide their own safety footwear.
- Workers are required to provide their own basic hand tools and tool pouch.
- Valid Class 5 License.
