Key Account Manager - Food ServiceWho we are CT Bakery is an international provider of the highest quality, thaw and serve artisan donuts that deliver a bakery-fresh experience. Headquartered in Toronto, Ontario Canada. CT Bakery donuts can currently be found in leading grocery stores, convenience stores, and institutions across North America, South America and Asia. We also sell into every major channel in the food distribution system and offer our consumers a variety of indulgent donuts. We do this by building a team that is passionate about making donuts and driven by a sense of pride and dedication.Objective of the PositionThe Key Account Manager - Food Service is a new position that will help accelerate growth in the Food Service segment. This position will be responsible for driving the company's gross sales while ensuring they are in line with corporate margin expectations. It will include acquisition of new customers across North America, maintaining and developing strong customer relationships, developing and managing a strong broker network, and creating, managing and implementing strategic and operational plans to ensure customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities Developing and leading a sales pipeline for growth including prospecting, understanding customer requirements, proposals, commercialization and servicing accounts60% of time prospecting new business, 20% of time growing current business (House & Broker accounts), and 20% of the time spent on account management & administrative requirements. Establish and Manage the Food Service Sales Objectives & Budget including: Developing and managing annual customer sales plans for regions/territories Forecasting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products Preparing and presenting required internal business reviewsActively pursuing new businessEffectively lead third party brokers by ensuring they:Represent our corporate values Are in alignment and are actively driving towards our fiscal sales objectivesProvide insightful monthly reports outlining current selling activityDriving potential new business opportunities in a timely fashionWork collaboratively with internal departments to ensure the corporate objectives are met by:Optimizing sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.Providing supporting information to fully evaluate requested costing, such as current vendor, retails, retail GM expectations, potential volume and any special requirements.Lead customer projects from beginning to endMaintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies and trade shows.Requirements:Min experience of 3 years in Food Service Sales consistently meeting/exceeding targetsFamiliar with USA / Canada Food Service Marketplace, Distributors and BrokersBusiness development driven through a passion for creating loyal relationships with customers and outstanding service levels and supportDemonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of internal and external organizationsStrong negotiation, influencing skills and an ability to open doors across clients at all levelsAmbitious and enthusiastic with strong listening and interpersonal skillsSelf-motivated and driven to succeedExcellent Organizational skills and IT fluencyBachelors' degree - Commerce, Marketing or business administration preferredAbility to travel regularlyValid Passport Onsite work
