NWI Precision specializes in high-precision machining of helicopter masts, turbine shafts, engine thrust links, and nuclear pressure vessel components for the aerospace and nuclear industries worldwide. Operating from a 120,000 sq. ft. facility at 9 Fenmar Drive in Toronto, our dedicated team is committed to delivering the highest quality products to specifications and on time.We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to join our team and lead key customer programs in the aerospace manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in managing complex, cross-functional projects with a focus on quality, delivery, and customer satisfaction.In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, ensuring their expectations are met through clear communication, timely execution, and effective collaboration. You will oversee all aspects of program performance, including engineering coordination, quality assurance, cost control, and supply chain alignment - driving each program from initiation through successful completion.Key Responsibilities:Serve as the first point of contact for all program-related matters with customersLead cross-functional program planning, reporting, and executionManage program scope changes, engineering issues, risk mitigation, and change controlDevelop and maintain integrated milestone charts and risk mitigation plansMonitor program progress and take corrective action when necessaryIdentify and manage program risks - including industrial and geopolitical factorsChair recurring program reviews focused on customer satisfaction and internal KPIsForecast and manage budgets, ensuring alignment with financial targetsOversee RFQ process and lead commercial negotiationsDrive cost optimization and support the company's financial and operational goalsEnsure programs are compliant with AS9100 and all regulatory/customer standardsRequirements:Minimum 5 years of experience in a Program Management role within the aerospace manufacturing industryStrong understanding of build-to-print manufacturing processes (machining, special processes, assembly)Experience with ERP/MRP systems and scheduling toolsStrong customer relationship and communication skills, including experience working with executive-level stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to manage complex timelines, risks, and deliverablesProven leadership in cross-functional team environmentsExcellent organizational, analytical, and time management skillsKnowledge of AS9100 standards and Controlled Goods / ITAR / Export ComplianceEducation & Certifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fieldPMP certification and/or MBA considered an assetLean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher) preferredSoft Skills & Values:Collaborative mindset with strong leadership presenceCustomer-focused and results-drivenStrong problem-solving and influencing skillsCommitment to safety and continuous improvementAbility to empower others and lead by exampleNWI Precision will make reasonable accommodations of an otherwise qualified employee or applicant for employment, unless undue hardship to NWI Precision would result.
