Engage clients up and down the organization from day-to-day operational contacts, strategic sourcing specialists, to business leaders and executive decision makersFoster trust through transparent communication and responsive serviceLeverage industry expertise to anticipate client challenges and offer innovative recommendations ensuring that every interaction reinforces Dynacare's commitment to partnershipLead Negotiations and Secure ContractsLead negotiations and secure contracts by employing a strategic, solutions-oriented approach that balances client requirements with organizational objectivesEnsuring mutually beneficial agreements that drive business growth and build enduring partnershipsCollaborate with legal and operational teams to address contract terms, mitigate risks, and expedite agreement finalizationCollaborate with Cross-functional TeamsThink enterprise wide, coordinating and collaborating across the business development team and Dynacare operational functions to uncover sales opportunities, ensure an excellent customer experience and operational success in delivering for the customerDevelop relationships with LabCorp teams involved in supportingLead and Develop TeamLead, guide and coach your direct reports to set and achieve business targets, to improve selling and negotiation skills, to implement effective account strategies and tactics to build sustainable customer relationshipsSupport the development of the sales team's annual goals and provide continuous feedbackAs a leader, role model and coach, foster an environment of positive employee relations, strong teamwork, and employee engagementCreate an environment of trust and open communication, by sharing information in a timely manner and encouraging multi-directional feedbackAct as a coach to promote career growth opportunities, educational pursuits, and participation in internal development programsWhat YOU bring to the role:10+ years of relevant business development and/or sales experience ideally in a healthcare or scientific related industryA deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and drug development environmentBachelor's or advanced degree in a scientific, healthcare or business discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience)Strong analytical skills, able to plan and use creative / solutions thinking to investigate new business opportunitiesAbility to manage a pipeline of opportunities in a systematic and organized wayDemonstrated history of achieving and exceeding budgeted sales and profit objectivesExcellent sales skills with a track record of tailoring solutions to meet unique client needs and the proven ability to negotiate and close dealsSelf-starter with the ability to work autonomouslyGenuine ability to build strong relationships up, down and across client organizationsExceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills with the ability to adapt approach based on audienceCollaborative by nature with the ability to engage and bring internal cross-functional stakeholders along in developing client solutionsOperate with integrity, build trust and credibility with internal and external stakeholdersExcellent observation and listening skillsProfessionally assertive and courageous team-playerThe ability to get things done individually, while leading a team to achieving exceptional resultsWorking conditions:Home office with periodic travel to a Dynacare location - ideally in the Greater Toronto or Greater Montreal areaTravel required, up to 30% of the timePay rate: $121,600 to $152,000 annuallyThe hiring pay range has been established; however, the final pay offer will be determined by taking into consideration various factors including but not limited to, level of experience and education requirements.At Dynacare, we may leverage AI-powered tools in our recruitment process.
